I hold a doctorate in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, and have been a professor of psychology at Holy Names University in Oakland, CA since 1990. Currently, I am the Executive Secretary for the International Society for Humor Studies ("http://www.humorstudies.org), and I run laughter yoga circles for senior/assisted living centers as part of an ongoing community-based service program.
