Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training (CLYL)

Become a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and start a Laughter Club. Join the growing Laughter Yoga community and lead sessions in corporations and companies, schools, fitness centers, yoga and senior centers, and public events.

It is the next step in your training in continuation with the basic learning course. In this course, you will learn how to lead a group through laughter yoga and meditation.

Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training involves 12 lessons in total, including six lessons of the Basic Leaning Course.

What will you learn in the leader training course

Basic Learning Course Lesson (6 Lessons)
The course begins with six lessons of the Basic Learning Course and ends with an additional six lessons as follows:

Session 7:

  • Objectives of laughter yoga leader training
  • Learn the basics of laughter yoga – 5 points, 3 reasons, 4 steps and 5 benefits

Practice

Guide the group through five laughter exercises by demonstrating and leading them

Assignments

Make a short video demonstrating the five points and three reasons you memorised

Session 8:

  • What happens in a laughter yoga session?
  • Practice laughter yoga's 4 steps
  • Systematic approach to laughter yoga sessions - Guidelines for leading a successful session
  • The guidelines for laughter meditation

Practice

Guide the group through five more laughter exercises by demonstrating and leading them

Assignments

Do more laughter exercises alone or with family members and share the video recordings

Session 9:

  • An in-depth understanding of laughter yoga's concept and philosophy
  • Is it necessary to have a sense of humor in order to laugh?
  • Is it possible to laugh even when you don't feel like it?
  • Is there a way to laugh when you are unhappy?
  • How come children laugh 300-400 times, but adults only 15 times?
  • Is it possible to train ourselves to laugh?

Practice

Session 10:

  • The essential link between yoga and laughter
  • Laughter yoga – the science of breathing

  • Practising the steps of the all-time popular Bollywood Laughter Yoga Dance Music

Assignments

  • Record yourself reciting the four steps of laughter yoga and share the video

Learn more benefits of laughter yoga

Practice

  • Buddy Practice: Please memorise the five benefits of laughter and practice it with a buddy
  • Practising the steps of the all-time popular Bollywood Laughter Yoga Dance Music
  • Yoga Nidra - a powerful relaxation

  • Record yourself reciting the four steps of laughter yoga and share the video
  • Do more laughter exercises by giving complete instructions and share video recordings

Session 12:

  • What is a laughter club, how do you start one, and how do you promote it?
  • An overview of what free social laughter clubs do and what their mission is.
  • What are the free and chargeable aspects of laughter yoga?

  • Guide the group through five more laughter exercises by demonstrating and leading them
  • Practising the steps of the all-time popular Bollywood Laughter Yoga Dance Music

Assignments

  • Do more laughter exercises alone or with family members and share the video recordings

dr-madan-kataria Dr. Madan Kataria founded Laughter Yoga in Mumbai, India, in 1995 and is known as the “Guru of Giggling” (London Times). Over 120 countries have laughter yoga clubs, which has grown into a worldwide movement. Dr. Madan Kataria has 25 years of experience teaching you how to laugh on your own, with others, and with your family and colleagues.

Dr. Kataria provides keynote speeches, motivational and inspirational talks for companies, corporations and organizations worldwide. He also provides corporate coaching in holistic health, stress management, team building, leadership, peak performance, communication and leadership skills.

dr-madan-kataria As a Master Trainer and Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher, Vinayak Shastri has assisted Dr Kataria with international training for seven years and has been personally trained by Dr Kataria. He has excellent facilitation skills to lead corporate seminars. Additionally, he has conducted workshops and trainings in Japan, Hong Kong, and China. He has earned a master’s degree in traditional yoga from S-VYASA University, Bangalore, India.

Aside from creating free social laughter clubs all over India, he has presented seminars in prisons, schools, Indian army, police and commando training centers.

Can I enroll only in the Certified Leader Training Course?
Who is eligible for Leader Training Certification?

Once you have completed the six sessions of the Basic Learning Course, you are eligible for the Leader Course. This is an additional six sessions.

Can I register only for the Basic Learning Course?

Yes. The Basic Learning Course teaches you how to bring more joy and laughter into your life and loved ones. And when you complete the Leader Course, you can start your own Online or Physical Free Laughter Clubs as well as become eligible to train others.

Does Dr. Madan Kataria himself conducts these trainings?

Yes. Dr. Madan Kataria founded Laughter Yoga and he conducts laughter yoga training programs worldwide.
