Description:
I was trained as a leader by Bharata Wingham in Yogaville, Virginia in 2006. In April 2010, I received my teacher certification from Dr. Madan Kataria after a 5-day training. Since 2006, I have led over one thousand diverse groups in laughter yoga, started a 6-year public laughter yoga club, led laughter and silence retreats and 11 Certified Laughter Yoga Trainings. I led laughter yoga sessions with the Human Resources employees at the University of Virginia for 5 years. I use laughter yoga in trauma recovery, and with special needs populations, like Assisted Living, Parkinson's and MS. I currently lead a one-hour laughter yoga class, monthly, at the Sports Center in Morehead City, NC. I'm available for group and individual sessions with widely diverse populations. We laugh in the same language!
