We had the time of our life at a fundraiser for the Mombasa Heart Foundation in London, which was hosted by 'Only Indya' - there was music, dancing, drumming and incredible food, finished up with some classic Bollywood dancing (provided by us - the punters. Unfortunately I failed to win the dance competition).
And of course, a good dose of laughter yoga with a great bunch of willing people. As it was a dinner event I asked everyone to stand up round their tables, we did some breathing and stretching, some exercises such as laughter buttons, and everyone enjoyed greeting each other with a handshake or a namaste. Then we had a few 'comedians' get up and introduce themselves to a great roar of laughter. I met a true laughter-blaster at least as crazy as myself, we spent the rest of the evening dancing and laughing.
Couldn't have been more suitable considering it was an event for raising awareness and funds for people to look after their hearts. Everyone went home with a heart at least ten years younger than at the start of the evening... and some lovely Indian handicrafts
