"Ho ho ha ha ha," said several women clapping their hands and walking barefoot in a bright room located in Tunis. Each woman roared with laughs in an attempt to see beyond her problems.
A recent study showed that most women in Tunisia suffer from anxiety. While seeking alternatives to resolve their stress, they discovered Laughter Yoga – a powerful technique to relieve stress and generate positive energy and optimism. It represents a way to improve health and well-being. In fact, a participant at the laughter session said she felt better and more self-confident. She also learnt to accept herself and to see the best side of life.
