Laughter Helps The Disabled To Ease Stress

Master trainer Ricardo from Italy recently conducted a Laughter Yoga session at Mother Sai House – Divignano which houses people with disabilities. It was a wonderful experience and the session was a simple way to spread the power of unconditional love to people facing numerous difficulties in life.

Living with a disability is a huge challenge and can be hard to deal with. It leads to severe mental trauma and stress and people are prone to negative feelings and emotions. They undergo an all time low and sensations of self pity and self worthless set in.
Laughter Yoga has the ability to alleviate this stress by improving the mood state and providing relief from feelings of negativity. The group dynamics in Laughter Yoga leads to more openness and helps people to share their grief. The exercises and the deep breathing relax the body and the mind and assist one to accept reality. It also helps such people to release their inner feelings without fear and pain and is a great method for emotional release and balance.
