In a recent report, a laughter session held at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center, Indiana, showed that the whole laughter workout helps to decrease stress and blood pressure.
According to laughter leader Kayla Campbell Laughter Yoga is based on the idea of acting happiness. You don’t need humor. You don't need jokes. You don't need comedy. You can just laugh for no reason. It is a physical exercise which can be made as intense as one wants it to be and promotes deep breathing - which is always good for heart health.
