I am a wife, mother and grandmother, who loves to be creative with watercolour painting. I love walking, swimming and nature. At home we have birds, cats and dogs.

A little about my background, I have always leant towards alternative and complimentary medicine. My life has been drawn to living holistically, doing my best to be spiritually attuned and grounded at the same time. I have constantly followed my quest for self improvement, knowledge and wisdom.

Throughout my life I have learnt and experienced many things, some which go way back. Certified ones are Laughter Yoga Teacher and Leader, Diploma in Holistic Living Counselling, Certificate IV in Mentor and Life Coaching, Reiki II, Primus Healing, Qi Gong Medical (Healing), Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training, Touch For Health, Crystal Therapy and others are Hatha Yoga teacher, numerology, astrology and Chinese massage.

What brought me to Laughter Yoga was hearing that ‘the laughter guru’ was coming to Melbourne. I got very excited and went to the laughter workshop with Dr Kataria in 2005, followed immediately by laughter leader training and starting my own community laughter club.

My work focuses both in business and in the wellness area, very much with hospitals, schools and associated groups. This service is provided to groups and communities, who through it will feel more heart connected, grounded, centred and a reduction of stress. This brings harmony into their lives and relationships.

I facilitate, lead and teach Laughter Yoga, combining counselling and life coaching as required, as sessions and workshops are uniquely tailored to the needs

Part of my strategy is to remind people to be kind and compassionate towards self and aim for every laughter session to enhance feelings of worthiness, uniqueness and authenticity.

I enjoy my role as Secretary of the Maroondah Business Association which is a networking, educational and not-for-profit business organisation and provides me with great opportunities to meet people, book speakers and maintain the website.

Being involved in the business area through the above association helps tune me into businesses in and around Melbourne, providing Laughter Yoga for team building meetings which proves beneficial to recipients.

Having recently joined the committee for Laughter Clubs Victoria Inc, gives me the ability to be more connected with the people of Melbourne. I do this by being webmaster on their website and taking turns in leading laughter sessions for the Victorian Clubs at the Melbourne Federation Square Laughter Club and the Mind Body Spirit Festival.

Together with my husband John, we are leaders of the Ferntree Gully Laughter Club in a south east suburb of Melbourne. We which started the club in Boronia eight years ago and have been in Ferntree Gully for three years now. We meet behind the library on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday of the month. You are all welcome to join and there are more details on the main menu about it.

I am enthusiastic and love to raise the awareness of and share laughter as much as possible, especially around Victoria through laughter sessions, laughter workshops and laughter teacher training.

Wishing you laughter blessings from Ferntree Gully, in Melbourne, Australia.
Remember every day to be kind to yourself!
