Stress is a silent killer that affects every level of our lives and impacts us on a mental, physical, emotional and spiritual level. I conducted an experiential Laughter Yoga session to a group of ambitious and stressful financial consultants from AXA Affin group last week. As usual, in the beginnings everybody felt awkward to laugh and do the laughter exercises. I encouraged them to just laugh and “fake it” till they make it. After just a few minutes they became more opened and the ‘fake’ laughter slowly turned into real and contagious laughter.
Research shows that productive people are those that take work seriously but take themselves lightly. Laughter Yoga is a breakthrough laughter delivery system that enables business executives and managers to lighten up within 15 to 20 minutes, with laughter exercises and short breaks of yogic breathing.
