Gazette Staff Writer, reports about how Laughter Yoga helped a laughter leader to fight cancer and go through chemotherapy. Not only did laughter exercises help her to get over her problem but she's now teaching Laughter Yoga to the students of the University of Maryland.

Laughter Yoga in Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Greatly inspired by Dr. Madan Kataria at her recent CLYT training in Melbourne, Lee-Jean Fung decided to become a certified laughter teacher and bring laughter to the people of Johor Bahru in Malaysia. Before she met Dr. Kataria she marveled at those who could laugh heartily either at jokes or while watching comedies. Greece Gets Its First Laughter Club!

Keeping stride with its rapid global spread, Laughter Yoga finally reaches Greece as it launched its 1st Laughter Club on 4th October 2008, at NAMA Gym on the island of Aegina, near Athens.

The club was initiated by Eleni and Vasiliki Skrekou Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers. They brought together an enthusiastic group which covered a wide age range and all participants shared one common characteristic: they were all ready to spend an hour of joy!
